Tired of being angry and bitter?

Ready to let that resentment go?

You’re in the right place.

I write about forgiveness: what is is (and what it isn’t), how to do it, and why it matters. I approach forgiveness from a science-based orientation rather than a spiritual one. The spiritual stuff just sort of happens automatically, in the background, once you start practicing forgiveness.

What you get:

Subscribe to get my newsletter straight to your inbox, as well as access to publication archives. I try to post articles on Fridays; usually they’re about 5-minute reads. Shorter notes will pop up randomly as things occur to me. Notes don’t go to your inbox - you’ll have to be on either the Substack site or app to read those. For a spam-free, ad-free reading experience, plus audio and community features, get the Substack app. (There’s SO much good writing on here! Highly recommend.)

Currently, all this good stuff is completely free. That will probably change at some point, but there will always be some free articles because I’m a Gemini, and we love to share what we know. 😉

About Sandy:

I have a lot of experience with forgiveness. I had to learn the hard way that time most definitely does NOT heal all wounds, and that making a decision to forgive was only the beginning.

As for credentials, I’m a Forgiveness Coach and Zen Master, and I have a degree in Psychology. That knowledge helped me make sense of my lived experience and find a way to forgive others without losing myself.

I’m a digital nomad, most often found in: Southern California; Vancouver, Canada; St. Paul’s Bay, Malta; or Valencia, Spain. My favorite travel companions are my husband of 20 years Michael, and my emotional support dog Gracie.
